to print:
you can print at home using your home printer OR use any local photo printer, copy centre or professional printing company. It is recommended to print on good quality card stock paper.
pdf files are designed to be cut along the edge of the front of the card. There is an additional bleed allowance on the back of the card, which essentially means that the back image is designed somewhat larger, to ensure that your cards look professional even if the paper doesn’t feed into the printer perfectly. Instructions are included on the PDF files.
if you’re cutting the cards yourself, I also recommend using a paper trimmer to ensure straight edges. Alternatively, most copy centers will also cut the cards out for you for a small fee. I’d recommend ordering a sample copy first though to ensure that the quality is acceptable.
please keep in mind all printers and monitors are calibrated differently and color can vary from what is shown on your monitor. If printing from home, for best results, we recommend using an inkjet printer.
